The wall street sentiment of: "Costco’s generosity to its workers hurts the company and its shareholders" is absurd and Sinegal's response was on target. Well compensated, happy employees grab buckets in tough times to help bail out a sinking ship; a lesson many failing companies continue to learn the hard way.
