I think you're spot on with this, Donna. This is something that is rarely, if ever, discussed or thought about. It is important to keep this in the front of your mind because it is easy to forget.

I also think replaced is the wrong word to use here.

I am decently invested (time) in Twitter and I think it could be great for business use. It's non-intrusive, easy to notify many people, easy to communicate one on one, etc.

I agree with Matt Farina that services like Twitter or FriendFeed would just supplement email.

I think Facebook's profile redesign will rejuvenate current users and attract new users. A simpler profile design will help separate Facebook from MySpace.

I hardly ever visit Facebook on my actual computer - I much prefer the extremely simple iPhone version.

Very well written, David.

I am surprised that the employees aren't fleeing at an alarming rate. It has been obvious for a while that AOL should just give it up. Not sure why one would continue to work in this kind of environment.

Great post! It's nice to see Millenials getting recognized.

This is the second article regarding Gen Y that I've read today. As a "Millenial," I am excited that people are talking about my generation.

It's great that people see we are making a difference in the business world - that our motto is business doesn't have to be boring!
