Fast Talk Response -

It shouldn't be about the privacy of the individual, but about the public service to the many. The same concerns were expressed when our homes started appearing in satellite views, but that died down as will this.

Fast Talk Response -

Of course! Pre-internet, we were not only able to date, but correspond with friends and family, look up definitions, and even buy things! What we weren't able to do is find a date that is a 92% personality match, keep in touch with people no matter how many times they moved, see a word's thesaurus entry, antonyms, audible pronunciation and translations all on a single page, and find out how hundreds of other people rate a product AND it's seller before we buy.

JP, you should be able to enter as many free-form tags as you want to be associated with your profile. It's on the Bio & Interests page, to the right of the 8 topics.

JP & Dawn,

If the problem is that you are updating your vCard and it is not updating the info that appears on your Profile, well this is more of a usability issue than a technical issue. The vCard update only updates the info that appears in the downloadable vCard. To update what appears on your profile, you need to do so in Professional History. We are looking into making this clearer.

Tim,

Thanks for bringing this up! I see now that the section is missing it's header which might make it a little clearer what the purpose is.

I am also suggesting we put a link to Add an Event in this section to make it more useful.

Grant, we are still ironing out some of the logic with our RSS reader. I believe you are only allowed 5 feeds on your Member Homepage. I don't know why the 5 on your Member Homepage would be different than those on your Public Profile but we will look into that as well.

Regarding Scoble's feed, I'm not sure what's going on there. I've seen content come in from it before, maybe he didn't have any new content this week?

Linda, you can remove feeds from your reader by clicking Add Content on your Member Homepage or My Feeds page, which should take you here: http://www.fastcompany.com/fc-rss/setup
Then click the Remove button next to the feed you want removed. We will be addressing this to make it more intuitive in the near future.
