I don't think there's anything wrong with being entertaining as long as the information is good and this is reasonable advice. on the other hand, a lot of people are suffering now and can probably use deeper more thoughtful strategies.

that is phenomenal advice Po!

today many are experiencing real anxiety... those that haven't been laid off as well as those that have, business owners and everyone in between. I live in Boulder Colorado which is a little bit of an island - the recession has not had quite the same impact here. Lots of technology and healthcare companies are still hiring as you can see in this list of top Boulder employers... targeting places like this is probably a good strategy no matter what your field.

Back in 2007, I wrote about the flood of new job sites in Too Many Job Ventures and nothing has really changed. The employment business is about marketing and service where the new sites can't compete.
