 <description>&lt;p&gt;Depends on what is meant by &quot;social life.&quot; Obviously, there are countless examples of socially awkward or even inept people making it big.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would say that, in general, one has to be engaged in meaningful and authentic relationships to be successful.  Life is about relationships and, as an extension, business is about relationships.&lt;/p&gt;
