i understand that a KFC or Pizza Hut have 5,000 or more international units while McDonalds has more then 17,000 international units. Chipotles has expressed interest in Toronto, Paris, London, and Frankfurt which might have room for 400+ sites. I am surprised they have ignored geographically close by and easy to supervise mexico city which might hold 250 sites.

The unit count was 704 at year end. The Colorado density was 66 units per 4.8 million which might equate to 4,800 units in the USA. the metro Denver density is 50 units which might equate to 6,600 units in the USA. the international opportunity is also promising if they hurry up and seize the greenfield. they are a little bit lax on the unit expansion rate considering the competition wants a bigger bit of the greenfield.
