Fast Talk Response -

The board of any public telco is hamstrung. They are sandwiched between the best interests of their shareholders and the government or market expectations as to market growth.

In the shareholders interest, to who they are contracted, they must hold cust.vol./ revenue advantage, even if that means not collaborating with emergent technologies.

What we are all experiencing now is the swirl of the transition economy as we move from ‘steam – to electricity’ (physical assets earning income to virtual assets earning income.)

Fast Talk Response -

Come off as...strong leader. This seems more like a social networking opportunity to bring a political viewpoint into play and from this readers perspective, not a progressive move for this forum.

Fast Talk Response -

Do women need to act tough to come off as strong leaders? No.
Do they act tough anyway? Often.

However, end game is based on the integrity of the male units within the team she heads. This will be the variable as to the team performance.

Intelligent people are needed to gain competitive advantage.
Technology if used correctly, can free the business brains to think.
I find it hard to put together the criteria of performance we expect from our new hires and the extent to which corporate land goes to snuff out the very enthusiasm that we hired in the first place.

Fast Talk Response -

Harness the power of Facebook to get real time feedback from your customers. Use it! Start using the channels that the customers have already created.

Facebook is just a technology set that enables people (customers) to build their own communication channels.

Turn programmes like Facebook around and harness them as communication channel between you and your clients. This is an opportunity waiting to happen - Go where the customer is.
