As Chief Innovation Officer, Amy leads efforts to identify new sources of growth for E*TRADE that are
driven by insights into retail investors’ unmet, unarticulated needs and that have the potential to re-
define how people manage their wealth. She joined the Company in 2010, and has established a core
team focused on driving pilots of new opportunities to market; building a culture of innovation; engaging
employees throughout the process; and building a “portfolio of bets” that will translate into significant,
differentiated value for retail investors and contribute to shareholder returns.
Amy has been recognized as one of US Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Banking and one of Business
Week’s Top 25 Global Champions of Innovation.
Amy’s a versatile executive with more than 25 years of experience, including leadership roles at American Express and Citigroup. Prior to joining E*TRADE, she was Senior Vice President, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Reader’s Digest Association, where she advanced multi-channel marketing programs across 28 brands and 78 markets. Her senior executive roles with Citigroup’s Global Consumer Group included EVP - Global Direct Banking, Global Chief Innovation Officer, EVP - Customer Engagement, NA Cards, and at the start of her Citi career, EVP – eBusiness, NA Cards.
Amy received a Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton
School of the University of Pennsylvania.
When she isn’t trying to disrupt the financial services industry, Amy spends time with her family, pursues
different creative interests, and partners with the NYU Stern Consulting Corps program to manage and
grow a fellowship she developed that provides stipends to MBA students who support NYC not-for-profit
organizations.
