Genencor has sought its workers' input in these areas and in return has received remarkable loyalty and commitment.

  1. Environment
    Genencor employees helped design their headquarters, from labs that get a lot of natural light to a "main street" where workers congregate and collaborate.
  2. Camaraderie
    Weekly cocktail parties, each with a different theme, as well as numerous clubs, help employees from different departments get to know one another.
  3. Wellness/Fitness
    During the day, employees can take part in yoga or aerobics classes at the office, or participate in Genencor sports teams after hours.
  4. Lifestyle
    On-site programs such as photo processing, travel support, dry cleaning, and oil changes keep employees from running time-consuming errands during work.
