What it takes for your company to join the cancer fight.

Tobacco Use
- Establish and enforce tobacco-free work-site policies.
- Ensure that health benefits include counseling and medications--at no cost--for proven tobacco treatments.
- Establish workplace-based tobacco-cessation initiatives.
Diet and Nutrition
- Sustain a culture that supports healthy food choices.
- Provide access to nutrition and/or weight-control programs.
Physical Activity
- Sustain a culture that promotes physical activity.
- Demonstrate commitment to eliminating barriers to active lifestyles.
Screening and Early Detection
- Sustain a culture that promotes cancer screening.
- Ensure that health benefits include cancer screenings that adhere to the guidelines from the American Cancer Society or the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.
- Offer health plans that eliminate cost as a barrier to preventive/screening tests.
Access to Quality Treatment and Clinical Trials
- Provide education and promotion of cancer clinical trials.
- Offer health benefits that eliminate cost as a barrier to cancer clinical trials.
- Ensure that health benefits provide access to cancer care at Commission on Cancer--approved facilities and/or National Cancer Institute--approved cancer centers.
