http://kiva.org is proabably the greatest concept ever thought of that uses the web to do good. People all over the world are helping others all over the world to start or grow their businesses by funding loans. Microcredit has been around for years and was the subject of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. When I first discovered Kiva.org in February 2007 , it had already gained much attention, but when Oprah started beating the drum and when BillClinton mentioned it in his book, things began to overflow, in a positive way. Now I ask the question, where and when do we see the next Kiva.org? There are so many great things that could be accomplished by copying and adapting this model.
