Then select a few companies represented and brainstorm a new updated logo for them and their values. Evaluate the Fast Company logo and develop one for the Company of Friends; what message would it convey?

In Fast Company's first book of the month selection, author Bill George mentions the motivation John Kennedy brought to his generation. Is there a similar figurehead for Gen X and Gen Y? Hold a roundtable on the book using the discussion questions listed on page 52. On question 3, survey your group's experience with their corporate leaders; any shining examples of good behavior at the top?

Fast Talk (p. 59)

In Fast Talk, some of the nation's leading business figures discuss their mentors. Does the mentor/protege relationship still exist, and what does it still offer? Survey your group and see if they have a clear-cut mentor or someone who looks up to them. How did this relationship develop? Discuss why the relationship perseveres, or is fading if that is what you discover. How can the mentor/protege dynamic extend beyond the conception of a "good old boys" club?

Ideo seems to be onto something with their Method Cards. Have your group go over their major purchases of the past few months and discuss which products empathized with them and which didn't. Did it effect their purchasing decisions? Buy a pack of Ideo Cards and go through them at your next meeting. Is anything missing?

If you could pick up and leave it all behind -- where would you go? Could you afford to; would you want to return to your lifestyle when you got back? Find someone in your area whose made a similar life-changing decision and have him or her come in and talk to the group. What did it take them to reach 'Wa!'?
