What' s New, Now?

In mid-August, the Fast Company team launched FC Now, the magazine staff' s new Weblog. Since its debut, FC Now has been visited more than 60,000 times by Fast Company readers and Company of Friends members.

What' s all the buzz about?

Every work day, Fast Company team members, contributors, and special guests offer frequent short, sharp, and substantial entries. FC Now posts feature new ideas, address business news and current events, share useful Web resources and tools, highlight crucial conferences and news services, and otherwise shed light on the Fast Company team' s perspective on the world of work.

Contributors include Editor in Chief John A. Byrne; Contributing Editor Seth Godin; senior writers Charles Fishman, Chuck Salter, and Linda Tischler; and other staff members and guest contributors.

But FC Now is more than just a soapbox for the Fast Company team; it' s a soapbox for you, as well. Do you agree with what one of our contributors has said? Think we' ve got it all wrong? Tell us! We' ll showcase the most fun and productive contributions.

FC Now has also featured an exclusive e-book by Seth Godin, "What Should Google Do?" That' s just one reason to check in with FC Now on a daily basis.

What' s new, now? FC Now.

Making the Magazine

As a Fast Company reader and member of the CoF, you might have noticed some changes starting with the August and September 2003 issues. A new editor, a redesigned look and feel, a changing content architecture, fresh columnists, and a novel approach to the kinds of stories we tell -- and how -- all intended to better serve you as a business leader and innovator.

What do you think so far? Since its launch, Fast Company has been a work in progress. And we welcome your ideas, input, and insight -- on an ongoing basis. Many of the recent improvements were inspired by CoF responses to the editorial survey earlier this year. Let us know where we hit the mark and where we fall short.

Thanks in advance!

Upcoming CoF Events

Every month, members and groups of the Company of Friends gather online and in person for discussions, workshops, and other events.

To help you learn more about -- and get involved in -- some of the best and brightest CoF events organized by members and groups every month, Fast Company offers a global, public calendar.

This network-at-a-glance calendar is accessible by non-members, as well as by CoF members. Use the global calendar as you travel on business. Share it with friends who don' t belong to the network.

CoF gatherings are a great way to meet other FC readers and forward-thinking business leaders and innovators in your area. We hope to see you at a CoF event soon!
