If you haven't updated and completed your CoF profile yet, there is still time to confirm your membership. The confirmation deadline has been extended to March 14. Readers' network memberships that are not confirmed by the deadline will be deactivated.
Confirmation is quick and easy. Simply go to the CoF Web.
Using the username and password you selected when you joined the network, log in to the CoF. Update and complete your CoF profile, filling out _all_ of the required fields and clicking on the Save button when done. That confirms your membership. You must be a member of at least one local CoF or SIG, so explore the Find a Group section to learn what chapters might meet your needs.
If you don't remember your username and password -- or if you need any help at all -- use the online reminder service or send a message to the CoF administrator. We can help you get back into the swing of things.
If you've already confirmed your membership, thank you for your ongoing involvement and participation! You might still want to check your CoF group subscription settings. The default CoF setting is _Web Only_. That means that if you're a member of a CoF group with an active mailing list, you will not receive those emails until you self-manage your subscription preferences. Choose from Full Subscription (individual posts, message by message), a variety of Daily Digests (one daily email with all of the postings from that day), or Web only (only emails from coordinators regarding upcoming events and activities).
How do you do that? After signing into the CoF, use the My Groups navigation bar to go to a specific CoF group's page. On the group's page, click on the Edit Subscription link next to the My Groups nav bar to select your discussion preferences. This can be done for each CoF group you belong to, as well as with an additional alternate email address, in case you'd like to receive communications at work and at home.
