ActiveCare Network launched a powerful approach to reduce costs in the delivery of injections and vaccines, leveraging existing healthcare infrastructure and utilizing its proprietary software.

Healthcare is in crisis. By 2010, 1 in 25 will have a chronic condition such as asthma, Alzheimer’s or cancer. Drug treatments can cost patients thousands of dollars per dose. With up to twice-weekly treatments, debts can mount and result in stopping treatment.
ACN’s founder created a new model for chronic health care services. She replaced costly treatment options by establishing a network of 10,000+ high quality clinics and developed software to centrally manage resources and drive efficiencies in these clinics. Also, the system makes it easy to schedule patients from the doctor’s office or from home and automatically reports visit outcome data to physicians for better compliance.

ACN is the nation’s first network to focus on supporting these ever-increasing biologic patients. Without an affordable and accessible network, patients wouldn’t be able to afford these lifesaving and life-changing therapies.
Instead of hundreds of dollars, patients pay only a small co-pay per visit. They receive better education on their condition, drug and therapy; have more convenient access at more convenient times; and can rest assured that their primary physician has their treatment data – all factors which increase compliance.
Health plans and employers also save money, up to 40 percent over current options. ACN now provides affordable and accessible care to more than two million members.
