As an Outlook add-in, FedEx QuickShip reaches customers where they are, leverages complimentary functions, and simplifies the integration of FedEx shipping into their daily activities.

When you make services easily available, simple to use, and when you integrate them into complimentary areas that increase customer efficiency and productivity, you’re adding value to the customer experience. What’s the business problem here? FedEx is widely known as an innovator. And while many businesses seem to innovate simply to generate innovation news, FedEx continues to innovate in ways that generate and maintain customer loyalty by adding value to the customer experience. With FedEx QuickShip, the strategy was to integrate common FedEx shipping functionality into existing business workflows. Through the creation of a development resource center, and by creating FedEx Web Services and developing application add-ins to bring FedEx services into predominant and complimentary business applications, FedEx customers are assured that they can extend the value of FedEx Services into their existing workflows.

In the first quarter of 2008, FedEx QuickShip shipping volumes have increased and customer feedback has been very positive. Consider customer comments like these and you begin to get a sense of the impact of this tool:
