With laser-light focus, Bomgar is thinking outside of their Bomgar “Box” (a remote support software appliance) and is on a mission to virtualize customer service.

Explaining technical difficulties over longwinded phone calls and/or lengthy on-site visits always seems to conclude in nightmarish experiences full of inconvenience and frustration. And as dependence upon technology rises, the level of dire urgency when suffering through such inconvenient emergencies will also only continue to escalate.

In response, Bomgar’s appliance-based software enables customer service representatives to virtually connect to customers within 10 seconds. The company is delivering the innovation needed to fill today’s void of reliable and immediate customer service for technology.

Bomgar is optimizing customer service—enabling organizations to respond faster, distribute specialists more evenly, increase staff’s productivity and resolve incidents more affordably—regardless of location, language, system or network connection. This vision to “virtualize people” is an idea that has gained global attention as enterprise customers are asking for technology solutions that enable them to relieve overburdened help desks. Through virtualizing support staff (people, not hardware) organizations are able to automate the reach of their tech support services to customers and employees worldwide.

Through the ability to reduce time spent on troubleshooting, Bomgar enables technical support representatives to assist more customers more immediately—radically changing the aptitude of customer service. One Bomgar customer was able to condense support call times by 24 percent, saving an estimated $5,187 per day in call costs. Overall this cost saving translates to lower prices for consumers, along with the comprehensive benefit of dependable customer service.

Bomgar Corp. is continuing to flourish with more than 3,500 corporate customers worldwide and over $20 million secured in venture backing. The company’s revenue has grown 1,469% since its inception in 2003.

Having 3 systems in 1 (attended support, unattended, and presentation), with the addition of owning it, has Bomgar being able to reduce company cost dramatically. Not to mention that it is the most seamless thing out there in the market place. They are constantly updating as well. They have been around for about 5 years now and have exceeded companies that have been out there twice as long. I can't wait to see what the next 5 years is going to look like.

When I was an IT support rep, I used multiple ways of supporting my clients (VNC, RDP, etc). It was confusing and time intensive to keep up with all the logins, and to support people through slow tools that were insecure. Bomgar is an awesome one-stop tool that is super fast and easy to use for both the Rep and the Client. And it solved my client's security issues.

I have met with Bomgar and can see how this product can extend our capabilities in our AR workflow engine. As the PM for Service Desk, the ability to do remote desk top control has existed for a long time, but Bomgar extends beyond simple desktop takeover. The auditing capabilities, chat, session recording to contribute to knowledge, etc. delivers better than what I have witnessed to date.
