Mobile video services today are not ubiquitous because they don’t offer users an easy way to discover and view content on any device. This creates a vicious cycle where content owners are not incented to look at mobile as a viable medium for distribution, mobile video content is highly restricted and users are largely uninterested. Carriers have shown interest in being able to deliver mobile content to users but existing options are slow and cumbersome or they require downloading an application.

Blueapple’s solution solves this problem for the entire ecosystem through its search and on-the-fly transcoding platform. Blueapple enables discovery of any content on the web through search and allows users to view it on any mobile device they have in real-time without needing to download an application.

Blueapple has seen significant adoption in areas with no broadband penetration and limited landline infrastructure.
