"The first thing you need to know is that an orange is the same thing as a floppy disk. Imagine that you have the source code for an orange -- it's contained in the orange's floppy disk, a seed. If you have the source code and you understand how it's written, then you can modify what a plant form does. That gives us direct and deliberate control over the evolution of every species on this planet. And that is going to be the greatest single driver of the global economy."
