What is RealTime?
RealTime is Fast Company's flagship event. It's your three-day opportunity to inspire and get inspired; it's where you create a whole new vision for your work. You'll learn real solutions for real problems at every turn. Assembling the best and the brightest of the Fast Company community, from the magazine to its readers, RealTime is more than a conference -- it's a gathering of people who don't know each other but should. Take away valuable learning from some of the brightest minds in the Fast Company community.

What is the theme for RealTime San Diego 2002?
San Diego's RealTime will focus on the tools for growth in the next economy -- leadership, innovation, work, brand and technology. At this year's RealTime there will be no quick fixes. Our goal is to develop the skills we all need -- not just to get by or survive, but to prosper now -- and to lay the foundation for future prosperity. It's time for RealTime. Please join us.

How many people will be there?
You'll be part of a community of 400 leading big thinkers at RealTime San Diego.

Who will be there?
The attendees at RealTime are at the executive decision-making level in their companies, or they are change agents who have the ear of those in decision-making positions.

Where should I stay?
You'll want to be right in the middle of the action at RealTime. We're hosting the event at the Hotel Del Coronado, in San Diego. Call the Hotel Del Coronado directly at 800-HOTELDEL to make your reservations. Be sure to mention that you are attending RealTime to secure the reduced rate of $235 per night, plus tax. Space is limited, so act now.

What is included in the cost?
Food and beverage. You'll also receive a participant "schwag" bag on-site, which includes a T-shirt, sponsor gifts, and a schedule of events booklet. On-site goodies, evening entertainment, and drinks are also at no charge. Travel and hotel are not included. (See Where should I stay?)

What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Refunds will be granted, excluding a $250 processing fee, until April 5, 2002. No refunds will be granted after April 5, 2002.

Speakers

Where can I find speakers' audio- and videotapes?
Visit the Fast Company Store. Customers can shop online for speaker tapes by event. They can also buy bags, mugs, and other Fast Company "schwag." Can't make it to RealTime? Visit the store immediately following the event. We'll have copies of all main-event and breakout sessions.

How can I recommend a speaker for RealTime?
Speaker planning starts about a year in advance of an event, and the program is usually finalized about three months in advance. For more information, click here.

The online forms are not working for me. Help!
Our online registration servers are set up to ensure maximum security for your transactions. In some cases, the security is overzealous, particularly if you're dialing in or if you're coming from behind a company firewall. Occasionally, the problem is simply due to other network traffic on our servers.
