The International Conference on BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI2008) will be held from May 27-30 in Sanya, Hainan , China. It brings together researchers working in many different areas of biomedical engineering and informatics to foster international collaboration and exchange of ideas. The BMEI 2008 conference proceedings will be published by the IEEE and indexed in both EI and ISTP. Selected papers will be recommended for publication in SCI/SCI-E indexed international journals. The BMEI 2008 will be co-located with the 2008 Congress on Image and Signal Processing (CISP 2008: http://www.hainu.edu.cn/CISP2008), to promote cross-fertilization between biomedical engineering and signal processing.
