No. It is not OK to wear a hat to an interview -- especially if you're a man. In western society, men should remove their hats upon entering a building.
However, my Jewish friends tell me that very observant Jews believe that it is an offense to God to bare one's head before Him. If you are an observant Jew, I suggest wearing a discreet yarmulke to an interview and to work.
