FriendFeed Is Going to Change the Way Communication Works

Robert Scoble has been blogging a lot about FriendFeed lately. For an example look at his blog post:The First FriendFeed Event: MSFT and YHOO, where he looks at the way in which conversations evolve on Friendfeed. Or how about his latest post, The noise reduction system, where he writes about finding ways to reduce the noise these services bring.

Since microblogging services like Twitter, Jaiku, and Pownce launched, and social networks like Facebook took off, more and more conversations are happening in those spaces than on the phone or even in traditional methods of communication -- like a meeting. These new methods are even quickly replacing email and IM for some.

These newer methods offer more collaboration, faster feedback, and
limitless amounts of networking. I know people who make business deals
on Twitter.

What do you think? Would you rather meet face-to-face one on one or with a small group, or would you rather have a soap box as large as the World Wide Web to voice your opinion and share your ideas with others?
