Are Entrepreneurs born ?

This question has always been very intriguing for me whether entrepreneurs are born or are they made? And if made, then what could be the course curriculum to make (rather design) entrepreneurs?

I happen to think that Entrepreneurs are born! As long as I can remember, I have had a burning desire to create opportunity and to develop ideas. In answer to your additional question about designing a course curriculum to help entrepreneurs, I would suggest that it be a course is active rather than static. By this, I mean that the course should allow for the 'active minds' of entrepreneurs .

The training that came most benefit these types is training that facilitates the process of moving from idea to action to operation.

Hi,

I would like to disagree with you on the first question's answer.I believe there are lots of talents hidden within every person and its the situations which help in bringing out these talents.
Trust me, I have come across many such people who have reflected a completely new image of themselves and their talents as a result of situations.
I have seen such sudden resurgence of new talent/s even within myself.

I really dont want to sound like a inspiration guru or something but basically it depends on your internal desire to learn.

As an entrepreneurs myself, I would never thought that I am actually one of them. Somehow I was one of those people who is self employeed, and I have created some oppourtunities for myself to advance it...like sellong real estate...from do not know any thing to knowing....there is a learning process...
also, my life changed from the moment that I decided to go this way... All the people around me are changed also....because I influenced them too much. Today I have my own websites, my own data base, my own resources, and my own business credit cards, etc...
It's a long learning process still after 5 or 6 years...

There a few cases of individuals turning themselves around, infact most entrepreneurs have been molded by a mentor, culture or education they even copy other entrepreneurs in many cases ,why we think there born is because these instinctive skills in judgement that make a reasonable entrepreneur are developed at a tender age , it is at that tender age of a child that creativity, judgement and so on become an integral part of the individual, explaining why many think entrepreneurs are merely born.Thank you.
