One of the best blog posts on innovation I've ever read is powerblogger Dave Pollard's A Prescription for Business Innovation: Creating Technologies that Solve Basic Human Needs. If fast companies are forward-thinking, Dave's talking about hyper companies.

This has become my bible for innovation. I highly recommend everyone read it, so be forewarned that it's 11,500 words worth of good writing. Get a big mug of coffee, stall the boss or kids and read it. I guarantee it will be worth your time.
