Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell is yet another superb showing from one of the last people who seemingly still uses his brain to come up with new insights these days. With Blink and The Tipping Point he zoomed way in on some facets of life and business. Now Gladwell is not so much zooming in, but panning, with Outliers, out to see what kind of surroundings led to the achievement and greatness of people like Bill Gates and Mozart, among many others. Outliers proves without a doubt that greatness is not self-created at all. Instead, it comes in from the fringes and chooses a "host" who gets to enjoy all of the adulation of his or her peers, all the while knowing (hopefully) that this is really not his victory. It is his family's, her culture's, etc.

I have highly and deeply recommended many friends to buy Outliers because as always Malcolm Gladwell will give us great new insights in review which can boost our businesses. Outliers: The Story of Success was one of the most popular books of both 2008 and 2009 for a very good reason: it shows us a new angle on our world.

That is the best summation of an Outliers review that you will find anywhere on the Net. Basically, Gladwell has panned out in this broad-viewing work. No one is probing our business psychology these days (and life in general) than weird-haired Malcolm Gladwell, with books like Outliers.

Plus, you've just got to love Gladwell's hair and bizarre alien-like facial expressions.
