How do you Delete a comment or Edit it?

BY Viv Ilo VeithSun Feb 24, 2008 at 6:47 PM
This blog is written by a member of our blogging community and expresses that member's views alone.

I posted a comment on an article that I immediately wanted to edit. (Now, I would just like to delete it!) I can see it on my profile but I see no where to edit or delete it.

Could someone on staff please help me with this?  You are welcome to delete both my comments. I flagged them using the "Report Content" button but that was the only thing I could see to do.  Thanks.

Comment sections on most sites allow you to review your post one more time before you commit to it. I was expecting that here so I had not read my comment through - but BAM!! - it went right in!  (In fact I am currently editing this post using the preview option here on this blog.) My suggestion is that you add a preview option to your comment section.

I agree with the previous poster that you need a Help or Contact section. It is frustrating to have to publicly post on a blog when we are having a problem with your site.

Viv, there is a Feedback section, which you can find a link to on the top of the masthead, right next to Find Blogs. Blogs can be previewed, but not article comments. We'll consider that suggestion for article comments too, though I disagree that it's common for business content websites.
