Hmmmm ... I saw I had an erroneous URL in my previous blog post, but I had no way to edit it.
there's also no apparent way to stay logged in to this site.
:UPDATE: You can update blog posts, but only from the My Blog front page. Interesting. Glad I was wrong about Editing.

I've been a member of the Web Analytics group since joining FastCompany.com
I posted once in February and another today. No responses to either.
There are nominally 11 members of this group. I'd best most or all of them have some good insights to share. I'd love to hear from them; what's the best way of mobilizing this group?

Are you availing of services like Quantcast, Compete.com and Google Trends for Websites? Which ones and why?
On various sites, we've got embedded tracking code from Urchin / Google Analytics,
Quantcast, HBX, and Omniture for various clients. Then there's NuConomy, Woopra and Piwik.
Given the number of tools available, primarily at no-charge, there's plenty of available data about how much and from where their visitors come and what they look at or how long. What about intelligence from that data?
With all this good data, inventory management remains an issue. trend-spotting remains an issue: i want intel from all these sources, and maybe others, to help me figure out where I might be next week or next month.
There must be tools that do this - I'm hoping to to figure out the best way to find or develop them.
Want to help?

but adding groups, feeds and newsletters did nothing else to further the completeness of my profile.
The base info of my "profile," btw,, is pretty generic. Compared with other professional networks I use, I feel a bit under-represented.
(now I see blog posts are moderated before they're published - that's understandable, but I don't think it's going to promote the free flow of participation ...)

OK - I'm starting to get why my Profile seemed stuck at "13% Complete." It looks like I'm expected to create all the "My" sections from the top here - My Blog, My Feeds, etc. - to push my FastCo profile toward completion. Let's see if that's it.
(Certainly, some of the messaging around that could be a bit more apparent ...)
