Sample Mission Statements

We are all familiar with the mission statements of companies and a significant percentage of companies, including many Fortune 500, have them published for all to see. The statements of corporate mission ( target mission statement ) is designed to provide a common direction to all employees in the company and inform their clients and their customers, they explain the rationale for the company and why they are in the business they are in. 

The mission statements are different. Their goal is to help you get where you want to go in life. Somehow a personal mission statement is like a mantra, but wholly owned by you, committed to memory and recalled on a daily basis providing passion and enthusiasm. 

They are often a brief description of the most important areas of your attention and outline what you want to accomplish in a particular area of your life in a period of time. Mission statements are extremely important to keep you focused on your goals and help you come to decisions both large and small. 

Creating Your Personal Mission Statement 

Personal Mission Statements, almost by definition, defy a single format or formula, but the following tips may help. 

• Be brief, simple and memorable, sometimes even a single sentence should do, but they are usually between three and five sentences. 

• There should be a beacon for what you want to become as a person and must guide your specific actions, habits, decisions and behavior that your new scope for you. 

• It is essential that your mission statement is formed in the positive what you want to be. Maybe you want to get out of debt, but does not mention the word debt, instead saying something like "I'm going to become financially free." The mere mention of the negative has a strange way of drawing you back to it and reinforcing it in your mind. 

• It must become part of your daily life and be a positive guide in your day-to-day thoughts and actions. 

• Ensure that your mission statement is a good fit with other areas of your life and it is balanced and fair to both you and others. 

• Your mission statement must rekindle the passion you felt in creating it. Why do you have a mission statement? Because something changes in your life 

Your mission is not fixed for life, do not be afraid to change if you find a better way to express your goal. 

It is well known that the higher students of all backgrounds are self-motivated, think and act as if they are running their own business. They are on a "mission" and adopt a proactive approach to achieve the results they want. Their mission is defined by their mission statement. 

If you want to be part of the 3% of achievers and not mired in the 97% of followers, you need a mission statement. Achievers assume full responsibility to fulfill their mission, despite the obstacles that are the least informed of his way. The talent does not wait for "things" get better, they know they themselves have to get better until they reach their goals.
