Previously I shared a few thoughts on charity gifts and as Christmas is fast approaching I felt it important to reiterate the message that giving to those in most need is a noble and rewarding experience.
Christmas, for a lot of people, seems to consist of doing things they hate, in the company of people they hate. Just say no. Make your own Christmas, with the things and people you like. Keep compromises to a minimum
Don't stress out about buying presents for all and sundry, just the people that matter most. Make personal gifts - give things that you know people willa actually like. In this post are sugggestions to compile your own christmas hampers with interesting well chosen bits and bobs - and this can work out much cheaper than some mainstream christmas hampers and equally important great fun to make.
Of course, as mentioned previously charity gifts are a great way to extend human kindnes
Don't watch Christmas television: you know it sucks. Try to recapture a little of why you loved Christmas as a child.
Give a passing thought as to what Christmas is supposed to be about, even if you're not religious. Go listen to some carols. Ding dong merrily on high!
