Press Release – May 8th,
09 – Clearwater, FL –
Let’s face it. We are now engrossed
in a world of Social Media. Sites like Facebook, Myspace and Twitter are
becoming part of everyday life as a way to keep in touch with family and
friends and up to date with what’s going on. There is something quite addicting
to writing status updates several times a day to let people know what you’re
doing. Sure, the character limits found on these sites may in fact limit
someone in fully expressing themselves but sure enough you find a way to get
the message across (and that’s where computer lingo comes into play, finding a
way to abbreviate any and every word possible). Richter10.2 Media Group has
been operating for just over a year now as a tremendously successful PR Firm,
with a twist – PR through Social Media. We call it WebPR.

What is WebPR? WebPR is a term coined by Robert Cornish,
Founder and CEO of Richter10.2 Media Group. The term simply means, “The actions of using online media, to target
and communicate with a specific public audience to build relations that result
in reach and interest.”

 The company started
with Founder and CEO Robert Cornish and singer/songwriter Wil Seabrook. Robert
started forming the idea of Richter10.2 about eight months prior to the opening.
With Robert’s background as a successful business man and Wil’s artistic drive,
the two make a team that couldn’t help but work rapidly and successfully, at
growing the first WebPR Firm in the nation.

Richter10.2
is a full service PR firm specialized online. We build strategic online PR
campaigns to control our clients' online image, attention and promotional
actions. We focus on gaining the maximum amount of attention for each client
while utilizing every tool available to make their company known and to reach
out to millions of prospective clients for them.
Says Robert, CEO.

As the managing director in charge of delivery and customer
service, Wil brings the same level of passion and idealism to his work as he
does to his music. "Helping
businesses and entrepreneurs control the story that is told about them online
is a genuine pleasure for me",
says Wil. So, after the two shook
hands, they were in a building and had the company up and running in less then
72 hours.

I’m sure you can observe that technology has made a deep
impingement on our generation. Accounts like Facebook, Twitter and Myspace are
becoming more and more of a second nature. Users are even switching over and
using these Social Media sites in replace of their email accounts. It is the
way of keeping up to date with friends and family, complete with pictures and
status updates.

There are signs of conversions from mainstream/print media
over to social media. Magazines are ceasing to print articles and now are going
to be running issues solely online. In less then six months Maxim is expected
to cease all print publication. Blender, a music and entertainment magazine,
whose ad pages fell 31 percent in 2008, is ceasing publication after its April
issue. They will continue their print on www.blender.com.

The percentage of Americans using the internet is growing
every year at an incredible rate, with figures of over 70% of Americans online.
There is indication that Twitter grew 1,382% year-over-year in February,
registering a total of just more than 7 million unique visitors in the US for
the month. Well, why wouldn’t someone want to promote themselves and/or their
business to outflow and interest loads of clients using good PR on the web? People
don’t know how to go about it. That’s where we come in. We are professionals at
creating PR campaigns that will grab your target publics’ attention. The key to
having good PR, means having good PR on the web.

What are public relations? Those are relations with the
target public. We are trying to communicate with people, and not just any
people, the people that are a specific target public. If you have a rock
concert, you are going to have a designated crowd going to that concert. So we
ask ourselves these questions. Who are the public? Where do we find them? And
how do we interest them? This applies to every single company across the board,
that’s why we can sell to anyone.

Richter10.2 Media Group has serviced over 130 clients in
setting up campaigns on the web with Social Media Press Kits and Social Media
Press Rooms. To find out more about Social Media Press Kits and Social Media
Press Rooms and how you can get one go to www.richter10point2.com.
