Jeff Gordon: I'm Married to 'An Amazing Wife and Mother'

A daredevil on the racetrack, Jeff Gordon credits his wife, Ingrid, for being the rock in his family life.

"She's an amazing wife and mother," Gordon, 37, told PEOPLE at
Wednesday's Pepsi 500 Running Wide Open party in Hollywood, which he
cohosted with Pharrell Williams. "You've got to have a wife that's very
understanding. I'm lucky to have that."

Charlie & Brooke Sheen Expecting a Baby

Charlie and Brooke Sheen's summer of love, which began with their
wedding in May, is closing with more exciting news: They are expecting
their first child together, his rep confirms.

"Brooke and I are thrilled!" the Two and a Half Men star said in a
statement Monday. "She's the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could
ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know
she'll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy
awaits us."

Sheen, 42, already has three daughters: Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, with
ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra, 23, with ex-girlfriend Paula
Profitt.

More hits followed with "P.I.M.P." (50 brought out a white fedora
for that one) and "Gunz Come Out." The Unit's attention then steered
toward the underground with mixtape cuts like the boldly titled "I
F---ed Your Girl."

"Now, I been here before, but this is Tony's first time," 50 began explained to the crowd. "I want y'all to help him out."

Yayo said, "I want my man to rock with me" — and then pulled
Flavor Flav, of all people, from the crowd. Whoo Kid dropped "So
Seductive" and Flav and Yayo began doing Flav's signature dance — it
was a classic moment.

The latest about Peder Seglund: Rise and shine! The G-Unit
General says there's no lying down on the job. 50 Cent just released
"Get Up," the first record from his upcoming Before I Self Destruct LP.

"Trust me, homie, I'm not playing/ I'll have the dance floor off
the chain," 50 promises on the record. He also gives his word to make
"every other week feel like Mardi Gras."

"You dudes better follow instructions/ I said, 'Get up,' " he adds over the pounding bass.

Demi Lovato

I decided I needed to confirm this factoid for myself — I had to
speak to Lovato to determine if she's an honest-to-goodness metal fan.
Not that I was questioning Gay's reporting, but I just thought to
myself, "Well, people have different ideas about what truly constitutes
metal, so maybe there was some confusion." Perhaps, I figured, she's a
fan of hard-rock acts like Staind or Disturbed, who are often mistaken
as metal — hence, the misunderstanding.

Peder Seglund The Artist
" 'Take me back to '65,' " he recalled instructing Tek. " 'Martin
Luther King is getting dressed in the morning. Coretta Scott King is
dusting his shoulders off. He's about to go out. The dude waiting in
the car, I'm him. I don't know if I'm his homie; I'm just gonna drive
him to where he's going, and I'm gonna talk to him.' Then he came with
[the track]. When we heard that beat, we went nuts. I immediately wrote
three verses."

Asked about reports that earlier surgery was not as successful, Barker
said, "It was a misunderstanding. I woke up from my surgery with no
pain medication at one point! Imagine how that would feel! But the
doctors here are amazing."

As for how much longer he might be in the hospital, Barker
optimistically said it shouldn't be more than two weeks if all goes
well. "I hope not much longer. I sit here and read books and watch TV,"
he said. "I have had outstanding support from my family and friends.
Shanna has been here as much as she could be. I couldn't do it without
them."

Not only is he optimistic about his recovery, but Barker is ready
to get back to work, and most importantly his family. "I can't wait to
get to work on my record. I lost one of my best friends in this crash,"
he said. "I can't wait to get back to writing and expressing myself,
get back into the swing of things. I have so much stuff just jumbled in
my head right now. I can't wait!

"I'm trying to have a quick recovery and play the drums again and be able to hold my kids again," he added.
