Pamplin Film
Company is a Florida movie production and distribution operation that has
produced and distributed several notable projects over the last decade. Rick
Pamplin founded Pamplin Film Company to promote films that were independent,
award winning, and categorically American. Hoover, a 2000 biographical crime
drama starring Academy Award winner Ernest Borgnine in the titular role of J.
Edgar Hoover, garnered Director/Producer/Writer Rick Pamplin Oscar and DGA
ballot mentions for Best Director.

Before
Hoover, Pamplin Film Company produced the 1999 hit Michael Winslow Live, which
was recognized by the Academy of Family Films and Television as an
"Outstanding Cinematic Achievement." Pamplin Film Company is
currently developing a comedy-action feature film, Crimebusters, and a dramatic
feature film that is based on the writings of St. Augustine, City of God.

Inasmuch
that Pamplin Film Company is a successful film production, distribution, and
marketing firm, they are also responsible corporate citizens that actively
engage the local community. Pamplin Film Company offers Educational Internships
to area schools, such as Florida Metropolitan University and the University of
Central Florida. Pamplin Film Company has also been a corporate member of the
