Ward's Auto Ranks Audi Engine Among The Best

It’s been a fantastic year for Audi of Nashua. During a year when the Auto industry has been hit the hardest by the country’s deep recession, Audi of Nashua is basking in a year of growth, community outreach and recognition of excellence for the brand they sell.

We are thrilled to have learned of our ranking with Ward’s. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Audi 2.0 TFSI I-4 engine won a place on the list.

WardsAuto.com announced their picks of the 10 best engines for 2009, and of course, Audi was right at the top of the list. Selected by Ward’s editors, the 2009 list marks the 15th year for the Ward’s 10 Best Engines program, the North American auto industry’s only awards honoring powertrain excellence and considered by many to be the “Oscars” for automotive engines.

Audi has long been recognized for their ‘Audi Engineering’ which combines engine efficiency with sportiness in a sophisticated vehicle that discriminating luxury car buyers expect. Audi has consistently shown that efficiency can be achieved without sacrificing the handling and driving experience that a true motorist is looking to achieve.

The new 2.0 TFSI I-4 first hit the U.S. market in the all-new A4 sedan and Avant models that went on sale this past fall. In the new A4, the updated 2.0 TFSI I-4 achieved 11 percent fuel-efficiency gains, making the A4 the most economical car in its class at the filling station.
