Castle Venture Group, Inc., a venture capital firm located in Nashville, TN, announced the launching of its new music division named Castle Music Group. Castle Music will take over the operation of several music related ventures previously started by Castle Venture Group. The music division's official launch date is scheduled for April 26, 2007, when Castle Music will unveil several of its music initiatives during its grand opening gala at the Adelicia in Nashville, TN. "We are very excited about Castle Music and its already successful music business," said William M. Keever, President of Castle Venture Group. "We have developed an innovative new business model through which to expand our music related businesses - including publishing, production, promotion and distribution - leveraging technologies from several of our other portfolio companies," says Sherman Mohr, Castle’s Chief Operating Officer. Castle will also be announcing four key joint venture and/or partnerships with several music industry giants on April 26th. The new music division will be headed by Jake Wand, an experienced young music executive already considered influential amongst industry insiders.
