Change… just get the ball rollin’

I love the quote below from former President Bill Clinton. Regardless of whether you are for, or against, health care reform doesn’t matter (advocating or disparaging health care reform is not my point here). The quote captures what I believe is a crucial and fundamental belief required to impact change. Sometimes we don’t act because we don’t have all details worked out; or we’re afraid that our actions can’t really make a difference (little ol’ me); or that the change is too big to get our arms around (think global warming); or we fear we may look odd. In all cases, Mr. Clinton’s quote reminds me that change is never perfect and rarely right the first time around–it’s just important to ‘get the ball rolling.’
