Prince Harry's Inheritance Won't Affect His Career

A very happy 25th birthday to Prince Harry today. He also inherits an estimated 9 million pounds from his mothers estate. Although Princes William and Harry must wait until they turn 30 to get access to the lump sum, they are now entitled to the £300,000 a year interest from the inheritance.

According to the news, the money will do little more than 'enhance his army salary'. Three hundred thousand pounds would make a nice charity donation. Prince Harry is also a keen motorcyclist, so perhaps after his helicopter training is over he could do a charity rideout.

Prince Harry has had a radical image change over the past couple of years, going from party lad to committed army soldier and royal ambassador. After previous comcerns that he was not carrying out enough official engagements, he has been to New York in May and his tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2008 sustantially raised his level of approval in the UK.
