Be Beautiful

Happy Thanksgiving. Be Thankful.

Hi and Welcome to Be Beautiful. My personal blog dedicated to promoting health, wellness, fitness, fat loss, and stress management.

 

The thought for this week is: Be Thankful. 

At Thanksgiving time it is incumbent upon us to be thankful for what we have. Let's be mindful, during this season, of the abundance that we truly have in our life.

Abundance is merely a matter of perception, anyway. The next time you find your focus on the things that you lack, want or need, take a moment to reflect on all of the 'nice things' that you truly do have. 

After all, the 'nice things' never have any lasting value in eternity. It's all just stuff.  We might even find that we have too much 'stuff.'  We may then give it to charity or to someone in need (like the 'tons' of shoes in the closet that you're just not ever going to wear again).

It is in the 'giving' that we experience the true spirit of personal abundance. It is by having a spirit of generosity, that we experience the true abundance of love in our heart

 

Action plan for  today - WALK for at least 25 full minutes outside, in place, or on a treadmill to strengthen the heart and lungs. With every breath, fill the heart with love.
