If you look close enough in the latest issue of Fast Company, I'm there. Page 10 of the Obama issue is a promotional page/editorial about FastCompany.com. And the screen cap of Lynne Johnson (.com senior editor) was taken on Valentine's Day, the day I happened to respond to a question. My response is first on her page's list of "What My Contacts Are Saying."
The moral of the story is to participate, befriend the people in charge and get really, really lucky ... and you might get into Fast Company, too.
(Please assume tongue in cheek here. I'm stoked my name is in FC, but realize it's dumb luck.)

I'm impressed with the organization of RSS feeds within the Fast Company community but can't seem to find the method to pull one from my activity/posts/content/comments to subscribe to externally. Admittedly, I'm not always the brightest tie-dye at the Phish concert, but does such an animal exist?
Online communites offer email notifications of comments, activity, internal blog posts, etc., on user profiles. Why not have a singular RSS feed available to external readers for the user's community data, private and specific to each user certainly, but at least available?
My worry is that I might miss something if I forget to log in. And I don't need more emails.
If I've missed it, let me know where it is. If it's not there, could it be soon? Oh please?

I've never felt all too comfortable with blogs inside social networks. I blog at SocialMediaExplorer.com and that's where I hope people go to read what I have to write. But I like the thought of posting quick quips and items here to share with my Fast Company friends.
Since this is new, this is my first post and everyone is reacting to Fast Company's new effort here. I thought I'd share a link to my thought at SME. Click here.
