Do your dastardly deeds ever disappear from Google's all seeing eye?

Nope. Think of the internet as a scribe that follows hundreds of millions of people and businesses around recording their moves, actions, and events. One of the nice things about the internet is that is never forgets. The date of a significant event, the last name of a client you have a conference call with, the internet knows.

It is this elephant like memory that causes reputation management problems. While bad press may become less relevant with time and drop a ranking or two, it will never go away. In fact, not even online reputation management services can make it go away. The key is pushing it back.

By publishing fresh content to the web, the older bad news will naturally fall to the back. However, time by itself will not clean up your reputation.
