A unique and original way to propose marriage

Tired of the usual, and sometimes dangerous proposal ideas that include: a ring at the bottom of a champagne glass, embarrassing live sports events, or hiring a developer to program a dedicated website for your guy or gal?

Well what about this time, you bone up on your Russian trivia and add a fun thematic twist to your pitch?

Take him or her to Russia... or if you can't afford that, St. Petersburg Florida will do :-)  Find and eat at a local Russian restaurant.  Go to the park and read Tolstoy or Chekhov.  Peruse a museum with Russian art and impress your special someone with the Russophile with in you.

At the end of the day, when they're completely impressed with how worldly their mate is, give them a gift.  But not just any gift, give them a nesting doll.  Make sure there are at least 10 or so nesting dolls inside of it, and replace the very last one with your engagement ring!

You might even pick up a nesting doll with a romantic theme, like marriage, love, or fairytales.

If that doesn't win them over, maybe it's time to start pealing back your own nested dolls layers and examine the center in you.
