One of the sections of the book I underlined mentions C. William Jones and the Association of BellTel Retirees. 95,000 Bell Atlantic, Nynex, GTE, and Verizon retirees have organized to lobby for better, stable pensions and retiree benefits. This was the first instance of retirees banding together I've encountered outside of SCORE.

It turns out that BellTel's not alone. There are also retiree organizations for former AT&T, Lucent, and IBM employees. Do any FC Now readers know of other examples?
