Previously, Shasha commented on the outsourcing of prayers and soldiering. This morning's New York Times takes a look at another instance: the outsourcing of summer camp counselors.

Andy Newman considers the growing trend of importing counselors, which seems to be hooked on camps trumping competitors by having more expert staffs. Among the imports: a volleyball instructor from New Zealand, a soccer coach from England, and a wakeboarding champ from South Africa.
