Given the onslaught of emails promoting doman name registration, primarily in the .biz camp, you'd think the suffix was the most important part of your personal or professional URL. Not so. I've begun to collect innovative approaches to domain names -- examples of fun and productive URLs.
Cases in point: Open, a design studio based in New York City, claims the domain -- get this -- notclosed.com. Oh, that's rich. And Play, a creative consultancy in Richmond, Virginia, sports the advisory address lookatmorestuff.com.
Add a comment below if you know of any innovative approaches to corporate URLs. We'll highlight the best and brightest in a future FC Now entry.

I remember that Eminem's website was called www.slimshadysworld.com, but that's a .com and not a .biz. Still, an interesting idea and perhaps these types of URL's are potentially more memorable?

Gustavo makes a good point -- I was remarking on the onslaught of .biz registration promotional emails. I get several every day, and they're worded to lead me to believe that .biz is the wave of the future. Personally, I don't think the domain has legs. Give me a good ol' .com, .org, or .net any day.
Good examples so far, but think company domains. What organizations have innovative URLs that help communicate who they are and what they do beyond companyname.com?
