Last year, more than 30 Fast Company readers, Company of Friends members, and FC Now regulars participated in the inaugural FC Now BlogJam to celebrate the anniversary of this blog's launch in August 2003. Over the course of two days, participants contributed almost 100 entries about leadership, innovation, and related topics.
The second FC Now BlogJam is quickly approaching! Monday, Aug. 8, and Tuesday, Aug. 9, FC team members and readers will once again collaborate to collectively explore the state of business, leadership, and innovation -- and celebrate FC Now's second anniversary. I'm looking forward to Blogjam in couple weeks. As I read the above posting on it, it occurred to me that with all the changes that have recently occurred at FastCompany, that maybe one of the themes we consider those two days is "How does FastCompany need to innovate?"
What provokes this thought is reading the above while looking at the cover of magazine "Why We Hate HR." I know other business magazine that would ever take some sacra-sanct fundamental function of business and treat it with such honesty.
This, in my opinion, is why FC remains the only business that I have consistent held a subscription for the past decade.
