Whistler Olympic Park is the chosen venue to host the Cross Country-Skiing and Nordic Combined World Cup events for the month of January 2009.

The cross-country skiing events are scheduled between Jan 15 to Jan 17, 2009.

The Nordic combined events are scheduled to happen between Jan16 and Jan 18, 2009.

Nordic combined is a specialized event consisting of cross-country skiing, ski jumping and physical endurance.
