I like Apple products & their innovations but this advertisement underscore their creativity. Apple as a respectable company should not insult Lord Buddha and all Buddhists. The designer and company should apologize to Buddhists. As a Buddhist, I strongly condemn this advertisement & ask apology. By seeing this advertisement, I decided I'll never buy any Apple products from now. They insult our religion.

it's not clear that who is responsible for the offending image, Jon Ive or the Gizmodo staff. but whoever's responsibility is, this image is very offensive to buddhists and it will have negative impact on the parties responsible.
