With the title already decided, Jenson Button arrived for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, sponsored by Etihad Airways, nicely relaxed. He is 90% certain to sign up with Brawn GP again next year although probably for considerably more money. Kimi Raikkonen currently heads the wages league, earning a whopping $45 million from Ferrari, compared to the number 2 in the table Lewis Hamilton on a comparatively modest $18million. Button took a pay cut to join Brawn, coming in near the blunt end of the table with $5 million.
Virgin boss Richard Branson hinted on the BBC coverage of the Grand Prix that he will not be sponsoring Brawn next year, saying that he "liked to support the underdog as we did this year".
The Red Bull team have still to decide whether to go with a Renault or a Cosworth engine and with the new 'no refuelling' rule next year it promises to be an interesting winter. The first race in Bahrain next year may even feature some overtaking!
