Design for Living

BY Fast Company staffMon Feb 7, 2005 at 1:16 PM

The new issue of ReadyMade magazine looks at ideas and designs for living in small spaces. Even if you're not much of a do-it-yourselfer (and I confess that I'm not), the magazine is still inspiring and provocative for its vision of how to combine style with sustainability. It's available on newsstands currently. Or you can check out its back issues, which are archived online.

Design, Culture and Lifestyle, Media, Magazines, House and Home, Home Remodeling

Hi,

I love the magazine and just like you..i am not a do-it-yourself type of person but this magazine points out some really good idea to make something that can be hip, unique, fun and low cost..Good for our generation.

Thanks,

I'm the world's worst pack rat , but I've lived most of my adult life in tiny NY apartments so I've always had to control those impulses. Now I live in a big house with a (gasp!) basement. My pack rat-ishness has reached extreme proportions--Readymade to the rescue! Finally ,a magazine with ideas for how to make a lamp out of packing materials (and other such wonders).
