My first Twitter report - while this is unconvential but I live in a land where they sing "I did it My Way" The social media masters will be displeased at my behaviour but if I do live in the "Free World" as free people constantly tell me - I will twitter to my own hearts content and share below but not simply follow the crowd . . .

1. My 20th twitter update. A notable milestone in my short miscreant but not really deviant social media experience - thinking out aloud again!

   2. What happened to the "I WILL TRY TO BE PATIENT" - ah, yes - "I will be patient about learning one day to be patient" . . .


   3. Down to 2 FOLLOWINGS as I summarily dismissed the NEW YORK TIMES - strange how the twitter updates were not as good as I expected ???


   4. My first day on Twitter has been so joyful, thinking about issuing a TWITTER REPORT at the "Freedom Oasis" (to tweet or not to tweetpublish)


   5. Follow http://twitter.com/stevenbj... but have little idea what he is talking about - 900K followers must know something that I don't ???


   6. It is 1:20am and I said over an hour ago that I am retiring for the night - if I can't keep to my own promise then I deserve ZERO followers


   7. Following NY Times - laid out 20 tweets but did not find one that interested me, 0 for 20 is not a good run rate - but I will try be patient


   8. I was following 4 people but Jack Welch is twittering from hospital - I am firing him and then there were only 3 . . .


   9. http://bit.ly/18St2p - ah ha ! Twitter shortens URL's automatically BONEHEAD !

10. ...and it seems not before I found a brand new crate of mango's in the kitchen and I could not resist a midnight right messy munch . . .

11. . . . but not before entering a 10th update - something about the number 10 that is kind of really cool and neat . . .

12. The thing I should be doing right at this minute IS GO TO SLEEP ! ! ! And I shall . . .

14. I am OK for one more - if a tweet falls on non-following forest - does it still get heard? I will see how long I can hold at 0 followers...


15. Now I can see why people are addicted to this - I must log off before I become a twittering digitizer . . . (why must I have followers?)


16. I am getting the hang of this but I think I will stay a twitter virgin for a while and then maybe begin to let it hang all out . . .


17. At its best Twitter is like poetry (but I am a Vogon I think - Douglas Adams would be much pleased)


18. 0 for 3 in terms of followers so far - I am so difficult to please - will get over it some day . . .


19. Incredible how Twitter brings a string of follower requests minutes after joining - must try to keep a high signal to noise ratio
